Society's increasing use of natural resources for a multitude of environmental, economic, and social purposes challenges us to acquire the knowledge necessary to manage those resources so they'll be available for future generations. Graduates of our program have a long history of successfully meeting this challenge.
Our Natural Resources Science and Management graduate program is consistently ranked as one of the best in the country. We strive to deliver first-rate teaching and research programs that will develop pioneers in science and the professional leaders needed to manage natural resources and protect our environment. Our graduates have played leadership roles in industry, public agencies, research, and education.
We are seeking students who will accept the challenge and become part of that tradition.
The following pages highlight the broad spectrum of disciplines included in our program. You'll also learn about our state-of-the-art research facilities and how you can participate in discovering solutions to the problems we face in natural resources. We'll also tell you about the numerous financial aid opportunities that are available to you, and about our enthusiastic, world-class faculty.
Our faculty and graduate students enjoy meeting prospective students and want to help you assess potential areas of study. We encourage you to interact with our alumni or visit our campus. You'll see diverse and high quality graduate study opportunities that are described in this brochure. I invite you to call any of our faculty concerning your specific areas of interest.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Kilgore
