RA position available to study protection of wild rice

An interdisciplinary Tribal-UMN partnership to protect wild rice is seeking multiple graduate assistants to help carry out research. Prof. Mike Dockry will advise a student to focus on "Integrated Social Dimensions," which will explore the influences of human values, policies, and practices on manoomin (wild rice) ecosystems. The student will examine social aspects of human/manoomin relationships, manoomin management, manoomin harvest, and environmental change.
